Privilege Aluxes Isla Mujeres Adults Only
10/10 Excellent
"Beautiful island and a great hotel location. Everything is walkable, but it’s still worth renting a golf cart to explore more of the island. Definitely pay extra for the all-inclusive option — even if you plan to spend time off the hotel grounds, it’s worth it.
There aren’t many clubs in the area, but there are plenty of restaurants, and a few play music late into the night. The hotel is adults-only. The staff are kind, and most are bilingual.
Be sure to book your transportation in advance — from the airport to the ferry and then to the hotel. You’ll save a lot of money that way. Also, have some cash on hand; you won’t regret it.
We stayed in a standard room with a balcony facing the street. It’s noisy during the day and quieter at night, but once you fully close the windows, it’s not an issue at all. You’ll sleep comfortably. The beds are big and comfortable, there’s decent closet and storage space, a safe for passports and valuables, yes you will have hot water , and yes room service checks in twice a day.
Overall, I would definitely recommend it."
