"We had a corner room and it was really big, had a king size bed and another areas with sofa and tv. Bed was very comfy and the shower was very powerful.
5 mins from train station and 15 mins walk to the beautiful old town. great location
we used the bad drop facilities and everything was great.
No issues.
Initially it didn't look as fancy as some of our hotels but it was a great surprise."
"Staff was very professional, the hotel was very close to Luxembourg station with market nearby. It felt safe for a solo female traveler. They even came for housekeeping, which I did not expect for a 2-night stay. My only “complaint” was the size of the room. It was very small, and had no room to lay my suitcase, and definitely could not open it up completely. "

The University of Luxembourg is known for its departments of life sciences medicine & tech. A number of start ups in the area - a young city, well-planned for the future."
"We had a great stay. Hotel Vauban was exactly what they say they are. The rooms are small and the area is a bit noisy but it is right in the heart of things and so convenient. The breakfast had no choices but it was tasty and got us out the door. If you don’t need lots of space or fancy it is a good choice. "

"I would call it a boutique hotel, charming, clean and with pretty spacious rooms. Staff was outstanding from front desk on. Bar was amazing, but not open Monday so that was a drag, but excellent drinks and ambiance"
