Reception staff were just ok - wouldn't let us use outdoor pool at 8.10pm after arrival in motorbike gear in 33° - which would have been a godsend (closed 10 mins prior). The hotel is located overlooking the beach and so as you fall asleep you can listen to the waves. It’s a perfect base for exploring some of the adjacent islands and trips to Porto Flavia.
