Panan Krabi Resort
10/10 Excellent
"We really enjoyed our stay at Panan Krabi Resort! We stayed in a family suite for 4 nights. The room itself was very spacious and comfortable to relax in after a long morning on the beach. The beds were comfortable, the room clean and the shower hot and powerful! The aircon was powerful and the room also had a fan which helped circulate the cool air. The resort was only 5 minutes walk from the beach/the boats to various islands which was super convenient for us. The staff at the hotel were very helpful, especially the tourist information desk, who helped us book a private longtail boat tour of Ko Hong Island and two others (with Krabi Teerapong Tour). Breakfast was included and was very enjoyable - there was a wide variety of choice, including freshly made eggs, Thai soup, noodles and donuts. There was also a choice of fresh juice, fruit that meant we could have something different every day. The only downside to our stay was the number of Israelis staying at the resort. Other than that, we definitely would recommend staying at Panan Krabi Resort. Our favourite place for food was KoDam Kitchen, where we went three days in a row! We also enjoyed South Indian food at Madras Cafe. "
"The resort is right at the beachfront. The staffs at the front desk and the restaurant are friendly and helpful. Our luggage was sent directly to our room. The room is spacious, clean and well-air conditioned. There is a balcony opening to the swimming pool. Seven-eleven, good restaurants, pharmacies, and shopping areas are within walking distance. "
"Pros: The room had great AC (and the main lobby was quite cool at all times). The room with a view of the ocean was beautiful! There were hundreds of places to walk to for food and shopping and only a few minutes walk to the beach! We did not pay for breakfast, so I can't review that. But there were lots of places to sit which was great.
Cons: You have to walk 2 floors of steps up to the lobby to get to the elevator. My wife had a sprained knee and walking 2 floors up of stairs to the lobby was very uncomfortable. (And with rolling luggage was difficult)"
