"Incredibly nice, recently updated. I talked with front desk manager … motel is more than 20 years old (ex-Holiday Inn), and owners have been diligent at upgrades and refurbishing rooms. An Applebees is in the center of motel, which used to be the Holiday Inn restaurant. Breakfast buffet was the best we’ve had in on a cross-country trip."

"We were traveling for a family funeral in Hastings. Everything there was either booked or ridiculously priced. We did all our activities and meals in Hastings. But it was worth the 30 minute drive to stay in a clean but inexpensive hotel. It was also very quiet even though there were many other guests. As stated, they don't serve breakfast. My husband walked over to Casey's , very close by, and picked up breakfast and donuts. We had a little confusion at check-in, and the staff responded immediately ,virtually, on the check-in screen. It was seamless, and very professional. I would recommend this hotel and if needed, stay there again. "

"Friendly, welcoming, and helpful front desk staff. The hotel is well-kept, bright, and comfortable. In the future, we'll ask to stay on the top floor as footsteps and running of other guests were loud enough to wake me several times. The early morning breakfast buffet hours were appreciated. My son ate and said he was happy with the selection. Overall, the experience matched my expectations for the price."

"Probably the nicest Candlewood Suites I have stayed in. The room was huge and the bathroom was very large as well. The lobby was very nice with lots of space. The only negative is that the walls are thin. Might have been that my room was an ajoining room. "
