Burg Eltz is just one of the landmarks located 1.6 mi (2.5 km) from central Wierschem, so you might want to stop by for a few pics during your trip. Why not take a stroll along the riverfront and watch the sunset while you're here?
If you like spending time outside, why not spend the afternoon at Moselle Promenade, a park in the heart of Cochem. If you like Moselle Promenade, you'll love Vulkaneifel Thermal Spa, just a short drive away.
Hunsrueck is well-known for its riverfront and wineries, featuring attractions such as Prinzenkopf Lookout and Mont Royal. Sights include Burg Arras and Traben-Trarbach Icon Center and visitors speak highly of the city's castle.
"Only down side was the lift begins on the first floor. Limited mobility would struggle. Staff friendly and professional. The rooms although small were very clean with sufficient facilities available such as hairdryer and shampoos etc. The wine festival is fabulous and draws quite a crowd. Cochem is a gem and a must visit when in Germany. Coffe shops, cafes and live music. Great time had by all."
"Owner was very welcoming. The property appears to be in process of refurbishment. The room and breakfast area was pleasant and clean. Good breakfast. We were treated with cake while enjoying some wine on the porch. "
"Only stayed one night when visiting the area with a family member. We had a friendly greeting and our host spoke English. It’s a pet friendly hotel as we had a small dog with us. The mattress and quality of the bedding were superb as was the Prija soap in the loo. Breakfast available for €18 but there is a bakery nearby (closed Wednesdays) for a cheaper option. Quiet area in a quaint village. Wifi did not work in the rooms only lobby area. "
"Great value for money. Of course the bathroom is small and the room is basic.
Staff were friendly, quick check in and check out!
A/C not great but did cool rhe room eventually! "
