Travelers who enjoy the great outdoors might want to go to Veliki Slap Waterfall, located 0.5 mi (0.8 km) from central Plitvica Selo. Why not take a stroll in the park and watch the sunset while you're here. If you like Veliki Slap Waterfall and want to stay outside, you can walk to Sastavci Waterfall.
If want to top up your tan, you might want to head out to Zrće Beach, located 1.8 mi (2.9 km) from central Novalja. Enjoy the sunset by the shore at Strasko Beach, Vrtic Beach, and Planjka Beach.
"Everything was great except one thing: the bathroom bathtub was completely clogged the last day of our stay. Water was not moving at all. We reported to the manager. Hopefully they fix it. Breakfast was fantastic and super easy access to the park, just 4 minutes walking. "
"Great location, close to the Plitvice National Park. We arrived later than expected, tired and wet from the rain and got a warm welcome from the host. We had a triple room (number 7) all the way up and it was lovely, comfortable, and super clean. There is a water kettle and a mini fridge in that room. Only issue: the water pressure in the shower was so low that I almost couldn't wash my hair. It worked better after 5 minutes but it was not fun. Other than that we had a great night there!"
