"We’ve stayed at Bahamar for the last few years and this year was pretty disappointing. It was our first time at SLS and for the price and expectation, we were very disappointed. It was Easter weekend so it was a extremely crowded. We expected that when we couldn’t find a room at Grand Hyatt and only a few were left at SLS. We were like sardines. The grounds were filthy. Cups, food, old towels, garbage, etc. we’re all over the place. It was filthy. We expected the rooms to be excellent but they were small, dirty, not well kept, and run down. The restaurants and restaurant staff were the only exception to the low rating. They were extremely friendly, kind, and the food was absolutely delicious no matter where we went. The service for food is 12/10 always and we were so happy that lived up to our expectations. Our son LOVED the marine biologist experience. The staff was extraordinary. Such a Great experience. Highly recommend! I left my expensive jacket and two children's jackets in the room upon check out. On my way to the airport, I called the staff so my friend could grab it from them before she left the next day. They told me they couldn’t find it and to file a claim. It was clearly on top of the counter. I called many times that day and emailed a bunch too. There’s no way that I’m getting those clothing items back. Such a shame. The hotel was disappointing and our belongings were taken by hotel staff. We will not be returning to Bahamar."

"The hotel, property and Staff were all 100%. The food was great and plenty of variaty to not have to have the same thing everyday. The drinks were excellent! Only problem we had is the location to anything else. The Bahamas are very expencive if you want to do anything there. And it cost $100.00 to get to the hotel, and another to get back to the airport. It cost 50-60 but kes to take a taxi to Nassau to go to any of the venues there and then the same to get back. They charge you by the person so a larger group gets no discount. The beach at the resort if amazing. So if you want to go, stay in the resort at the.pool and beach this is the place for you! If you want to explore and do outside activities, it's will cost you again what you paid for your trip!"

"This is the best resort we’ve ever stayed at! There is so much do and see! Our ocean view was spectacular from the Reef. Shuttles came every 10 minutes to take you to the other properties or you could just walk. Everything is clean and well maintained and staff is very friendly. We are definitely coming back!"

"Our stay at Sandyport Beach Resort was pleasant. Breakfast bar would be great to have instead of waiting for service. Just a suggestion."

"First checking in the front best was not accommodating, the gal behind the desk seem to hate her job which did not put a good start to our vacation. I even asked about a upgrade and was completely ignored.. the servers on the other hand seem to have a better attitude. This Margaritaville is directed more towards the younger ages more than the adults,wish I would have known this beforehand.... not sure I will continue my trips with any Margaritaville hotels. The water park is packed when the cruise ships move in but after 5:00 people disappear including the businesses closing for the day. Even the hotels Bars close at 5 PM including the adult bar by the adult pool."
