"The room is modern and spacious. Excellent location as it’s just next to the old town. Staff is very friendly. As we had 2 rooms, I’ve emailed to the hotel in advance to have it near to each other. It was nice that they did as the hotel’s layout is like a courtyard style. So you can imagine if one has to walk from one building to the other in the cold. It was also great that they had the WeChat services which enable guest to contact the hotel directly for any request. Thought the idea was excellent. Highly recommended! "
"The hotel is new and the rooms are spacious. Excellent location as it’s linked to a big mall with many dining options. But what really stand out is the staff. Though bookings were made via Expedia (we had 2 different arrivals and 2 rooms), I had contacted the hotel directly on many occasions with regards to our late check-in, lower floor rooms, rooms near each other and our dining reservations on New Year’s Eve.
Staff was prompt in replying to all my emails by various staff which gave me the assurance that everything will be taken care off before our arrivals. Well done ! Highly recommended. "
"I stayed in a suite room at Holiday Inn Kunming and had a great experience. The room was spacious and very clean, with two bathrooms—one in the living room and one in the bedroom. There’s a dedicated workspace in the living area, which is perfect for business travelers. The bed was comfortable, and I appreciated having two types of pillows (soft and firm) to choose from. The shower had strong water pressure, making it very relaxing. The hotel is conveniently located near Spring City Mall, which makes shopping easy. If you’re looking for accommodation in Kunming city center, Holiday Inn Kunming should definitely be one of your top options."
