"This was our first time staying at the property and I was very pleased by nearly all aspects of our visit. I requested a room on a higher floor in the new tower, and we were placed on the top level. Street noise can be a concern when travelling to Mexico, but with all of the rooms in that building facing the ocean, we heard little traffic noise even though we were very close to the highway. There was some carry-over noise from the adjoining room, which only had one door between the suites. Our room was clean, if a little under-supplied. A second facecloth and hand towels are the norm, but not here. Water bottles were not replaced after check-in, but filling stations were available. Of the three pools, the beachfront option is certainly the most popular. It is stunning! There were plenty of poolside and beach loungers available, though we were visiting at a low-occupancy time (Jan 7-12). One afternoon, a very entitled man refused to heed the rule of no music being played at the pool. I asked for staff to intervene, disappointingly, no one did. The on-site restaurant has a good reputation, and the one day we visited for breakfast, service was quick and friendly. Food was only fine. There is an on-going wasp problem. Their solution is to put syrup and jam packets in the planters to divert them from the tables. It isn’t working. Go to Rinconcito across the street instead! I would stay again, but it’s farther from town/amenities than I usually like. 10/10 value and staff. "
"They have amazing staff… the entertainment staff namely Ricardo, Eva, are so talented the pool staff specially Ninive are amazing and the service staff at the La Buffet are accommodating forget their names but they are so friendly and respectful "
"Room was clean, the hotel is pet friendly, about a 10 mimutes walk from the beach, a couple of restaurants next door but other restaurants and grocery shop also about a 10 minute walk, 1 medium size pool and 2 small ones with 2 hot tubs great customer service "
"We stayed at the BON Hotel over Christmas break with our family—three children (ages 8, 3, and 1) and my 76-year-old mother—and overall had a very positive experience.
The rooms were spotless and thoughtfully equipped. The kitchen had everything we needed, which made traveling with young children much easier. We appreciated the daily replenishment of water, coffee pods, and the small chocolates—those details really added to the feeling of care and quality. Housekeeping was excellent; the cleaning staff did a consistently thorough job, and the entire property was impeccably maintained.
Because of the size of the resort, there is a lot of walking. We rented a wheelchair for my mother, and the hotel was extremely accommodating. Golf carts were readily available and specifically dispatched for disabled guests, which made getting around manageable and stress-free.
One of the biggest advantages of this property is that there is so much to do on-site that you truly do not need to leave. The food across the resort was overall very good, and the service was impeccable. Staff were responsive, professional, and available at any time via the service contact system, which made us feel well supported throughout our stay.
Our main disappointment was the theme park. The website made it appear as though it would be open, but it was not. The only options within the park area were the Nektar restaurant and the Cirque du Soleil show. That said, the Cirque du Soleil performance was outstandin"
