"The room was spotless. The staff were really nice friendly. I wish the pool was an actual hot tub as advertised, but I still enjoy my stay regardless. The view of the mountains is amazing. It’s right in the middle of Zona Romantica, but it’s so close to everything and the clubs and bars that are only a few minutes away by walking. I recommend this place."

"We had an excellent stay overall. Our room was large and had decent views of the ocean. Partially obstructed with some buildings and cables. Staff was very friendly. The rooftop pool and bar was surprisingly good. We enjoyed sipping margaritas (which were excellent) while watching the sunset over the ocean and listening to live music (which is there on Friday 4-6pm) The room was clean and the beds were very comfortable. Plenty of space. One downside was that the immediate vicinity around this hotel is a bit crowded and noisy and unplanned. This isn’t a hotel with a grand lobby or extensive facilities. This is a hotel with comfortable functional rooms, good views and centrally located."

"Room was very clean and staff were very friendly and helpful. However, it took hours to settle into the right condo. The first condo we got had a lot of items that were unusable, like fans, and microwave, etc. We moved to another condo and the stove had to be turned on with matches. We were told we were supposed to bring our own. How would we have known that. The manager though was very kind and gave us her matches. Also the pool water was ice cold. The hotel should advertise non-heated swimming pool and the fact that people who have disabilities would have to go up and down to the Malecon in a Taxi. One of the persons staying at the condo was impaired from the knee. "

"Hacienda San Angel in PV is a luxury property in the truest sense of that term. By which I mean, the combination of site, staff, sensibility, and flexibility. Of course Puerto Vallarta has become a crazy salad of experiences and maybe that makes this place even more important because it is a remarkable retreat. I am hard-pressed to find a single point on which I could be critical. We will be back, again and again. "
