"Everything was excellent! All of the staff were extremely helpful, pleasant and attentive. We used the bar, restaurant, reception, and spa. We stayed in two rooms both were very nice rooms and very clean and comfortable. The bar was very cosy with a fabulous log fire and the service was excellent. The food was very good in the bar and the restaurant. The pool and facilities were very clean and warm. All in all a wonderful stay. Will definitely recommend and return. "

"Breakfast was sooo yummy, with both a full english breakfast as well as a breakfast buffet table. There was some issues with the booking itself, so that was annoying. Apparently some comms issues between Expedia and the hotel. But everything else was great. "

"Lovely harbour view room. Modem, very clean with comfortable beds. When we first checked in, they're was a sewage smell inthe bathroom but this cleared! Staff were very friendly and thought the breakfast on both days was excellent. "

"Leaving aside the novelty value, this is an excellent hotel. Superbly appointed room with excellent bathroom and everything works perfectly: near-silent but efficient climate control, faultless WiFi connectivity and TV casting. The restaurant is a treat, creative and beautifully presented menu choices and fabulous breakfast choices. Most of all the staff made the visit special; attentive, warm, courteous and helpful. "Communal areas in the hotel were stylish, comfortable and immaculately kept. Staff are an asset, absolutely every single one of them appeared to want to be there and make your stay as special as possible. Breakfast was lovely, great choice, local produce and all freshly prepared. We stayed in a "Cosy Double" - room 10 - we knew it would be small (and it really was) so I can't really complain about that but I have to say it wasn't very well kept. There was a horrid smell of bleach which didn't really go the whole 2 nights we were there and the furnishings felt tired and grubby - the carpet was stained and the vanity chair was so stained we actually removed it from the room. This said, we would 100% stay at the hotel again, but would choose a different room."
