"Our stay at the Oaks on Market was fantastic! The room had a beautiful view of the river and staff were friendly and keen to help. Breakfast was cooked to perfection and the menu was varied, but always delicious. The staff were welcoming and helped with any queries we had. Would stay again. Reminds me of the civic green in Warrnambool "

"Staff were professional and courteous, offered an early check in as an unexpected bonus when we asked to store some luggage while we went to lunch. Our room was spotlessly clean and the shower pressure was great. A convection microwave made having snacks in the room a breeze. One of the castors on a bed did become dislodged but the maintenance team had it replaced in under half an hour with no hassles. Will definitely be looking at the Great Southern again for a stay in the CBD, it's very handy to the station as well as all the main tram lines. "
