"We had a lovely time at Una vida. We had reserved the one bedroom suite via Expedia in which photographs had shown a bathtub however our suite did not have a bathtub. We inquired with the staff and the following day we were switched to another one bedroom suite which did have both the shower and a bath as we had been looking forward to. Other than this, the room was excellent, very clean. The staff were very attentive and kind. The best part is the yoga type classes available at Bardo at no extra cost. We visited late December and thus seemed less busy at this time so the complex was quiet. The pools are lovely particularly the accessible Bardo pool. We had a wonderful stay and would recommend Una vida if your looking for a relaxing stay in walking distance of downtown Tulum. "

"The rooms were clean and proper, and staff was super friendly and accommodating. I also liked how walkable this location was to many spots in downtown! As a solo traveler I felt safe the entire time here. "

"We really enjoyed our stay at Casa Agape. Hotel is in central Tulum. Staff was very nice and efficient. Hearty (free) breakfast. Very god cocktails at the rooftop restaurant. They have happy hours for local beer and Margaritas. The waitress Bianca was super avcoomofating with our 5-year daughter. Beach access is through the Casa Maria Mexican Grill:/Hotel Diamantek Hotel. Super nice staff there and very good cocktails. We need to get there by taxi or bike. If you use taxi make sure to download the inDrive app. This should save you a bunch of bucks. The Diamentek can get you ride back to Casa Agape for 400 pesos, Need also to pay the entrance fee for the national park on which the beaches are. It was 120 pesos for each adult. It was free for our daughter. There is no entrance fee on Sundays if you go to the beach."

"The luxury 2 queen room was so surprisingly extra spacious with its uber high ceilings, and no unit was on top of us on the ground floor. The grounds are immaculate, and the rooftop garden was surprising. The free breakfast was great as well - were pleasantly surprised there was a free made to order entree and not just buffet style."

"The rooms were excellent and spotless. The pool in the villa and main pool were incredible. The path to the villas was breathless and definitely recommend this hotel just know you are not close the breach but rather the town and there is a coffee shop named Aroma Café 5 minutes walking which was amazing. "

"It’s independently owned and operated! Super friendly front desk service, great deal on bike rentals, free umbrella and towels, a little outdoor shower to rinse off after a beach day, nice middle location between downtown and the bike path to the beach (about a 15-20min ride), the shower was big and had a pleasant rainfall style head, plenty of hot water, nice AC unit, cool aesthetic, pretty much checks every box for a nice little stay! Oh and the beds are super comfy AND I paid $62 USD for an hour long deep tissue massage right in my room. Just a good deal all around. There’s still more! You get a discount at the gardenia cafe next door which is family owned and operated and a pleasant place to get breakfast. Truly a gem. Alfonso at the front desk will fill you in on all the things to do. "
