A lovely, quirky place to stay! Really convenient for Ghent centre, with parking and EV charging. We were in the Captain’s cabin which was great for the three of us. Breakfast was very nice too. Only improvement would have been the shower room. The drain couldn’t keep up with the shower which meant you had to paddle about for a good while after anyone had a shower (the toilet was in there too!). Condensation issues in there led to a bit of mould too on the walls. Decor everywhere else was immaculate and pleasant though!

To cramped for a long stay. Breakfast was perfect delivered in a wicker basket with a knock. Can be challenging getting in and off the boat for a non surefooted person. Steps down to boat. Walk the topside to the tool, go on down a ladder and pull the hatch closed. Cool and unique. 1 bed round. Had fridge and micro. Shower stall tiny but totally acceptable. Heat and air worked. We were there 5 days and never saw the host other than first day we got there so privacy is great. Would do it again. Never changed the towels but we were okay because of the price and convenience to our activities.

Adorable!

We stayed in the sailors room which was small but cute and comfortable. Guy greeted us when we arrived and was great explaining everything to us including the best way to get to the centre of Ghent and see all the sites. Every morning promptly on time he delivered to us a very delicious and sustantial breakfast. The only thing is, it is not for the physically disabled or elderly.

Highly recommend this quirky boat apartment

We had an amazing time here, such a lovely place and really warm despite it being winter! The breakfast was amazing, a basket of goodies to tuck into with all the required utilities in the kitchenette. Parking was great with an option for EV charging. The city centre was just 10 minutes away by foot and very easy to find. Highly recommend this place, would definitely stay again.

Die Unterkunft haben wir aufgrund ihres Charmes gewählt und wurden nicht enttäuscht. Das Zimmer ist die ausgebaute Matrosenkajüte auf einem alten Binnenschiff. Komfort darf man jedoch nicht erwarten, den hatte der Matrose auch nicht. Na ja ein wenig Komfort gibt es schon, eine Dusche, ein geräumiges Bett und einen Kühlschrank gibt es schon. Auch besitzt die Unterkunft eine Klimaanlage,die wir auch nutzten. Der Clou ist das Frühstück, das einem morgends an die Kajüttentür gestellt wird. Reichlich und frisch. Außerdem punktet die Unterkunft mit ihrer nahe zur Innenstadt.einfach toll.

Fun stay on a great boat

We loved our stay on this lovely, quirky, fun and homely boat. Everything had been well thought out, the continental breakfast was delicious and Maartin was an excellent host. We would definitely stay again.

The boat was unique. Nice little "patio" to spend the evening and have dinner. It's close to Ghent's historic city centre. The breakfast was a feast with great quality. The only things I point out as something to improve are the mattress (my wife and I thought it was too soft) and the pillows (we thought it was too high). Other than that, everything was amazing, the host was super friendly and helpful.
