Two blocks from the beach. Saturday a jazz combo was playing during the day in a park across the street. Farmers maarket there on Sunday. Popular breakfast spot on property. The Sea Shore Motel is in a great location in Santa Monica. It's so close to the fabulous beach and lots of nice restaurants and bars. The owner was very friendly welcoming. The junior suite had plenty of room for a family of four.

I loved this place! Fabulous old-style motel, right down to the real room keys. Your kids won't even know what these are! Room was large and comfortable; same for the bed and the bathroom. Everything was spotlessly clean. Front desk staff was helpful and friendly, offering me a microwave, beach chairs, beach towels. Plenty of parking. Terrific location, two blocks from beach and half block from great Irish pub / restaurant. With the fridge and microwave, table and chairs, and large closet, a couple could easily enjoy an extended stay here. I wish I went to Santa Monica more often so I could stay at the Sea Shore Motel!
