Right opposite Takanawa Gateway which is a new and fancy train station and shopping centre. Everything in great condition, room spacious - especially for Tokyo. The area is heavily under construction though, and it's not really in the centre of the busy city if that's what you're after (we've been to Tokyo so many times it wasn't a bother for us).

Clean comfortable room, friendly and helpful staff. We opted to include breakfast and it was good value, buffet style with a good wide selection. The hotel is super handy to Takanawa Gateway station, very walkable with luggage and Shinagawa station is also handy though a bit further of a walk. The hotel has a happy hour in the evening from 5pm with free drinks and snacks in the bar area, this was a nice way to unwind after a busy day of sightseeing! Lastly we found it very quiet in our room, didn’t hear anything from other rooms at night etc.
