This is the perfect location for a stay in Florence. It’s an easy walk from the train station and everything you want to see and do in Florence. The room is comfortable and well appointed. Warning that there is a sewer/sulfur smell coming from drainage -after doing some research, this seems typical in some older neighborhoods in Florence. We kept the bathroom fan on all night and bathroom door closed as the smell is pretty strong.

This was a very last minute booking. Luca was very responsive on expedia and assisted with us getting a taxi and giving us a brief history of the building (which is amazing). It is located close to the train station. The room was cosy and great for our 5 month old, and the lift was very handy. The area is safe and very walkable with a variety of dining options. I would recommend this venue in a heartbeat!
