Ännu en bra vecka i Pula och denna B&B. Värdfamiljen är mycket trevlig och hjälpsam. Lungt, fridfullt och nära till Crai. Parkering bredvid huset. Gångavstånd till piazzan.

Basic

Basic simple room in a new apparently purpose-built house about 10 minutes walk out of the old town. Don’t make the mistake we made - we thought we’d be doing hosts a favour by extending our stay directly through them only to discover that they charged us a higher nightly rate than Hotels.com. It’s strictly business here as not only did they argue with us about the rate, but they insisted on their price rather than graciously backing down and accepting the misunderstanding and benefits conferred to them by a longer (no-service) stay. Some good will and hospitality would have gone a long way. Lesson learned, we should have confirmed the cost beforehand rather than trusting that it would be the same. There was also no effort made to provide recommendations or information about the area or the lovely old town of Pula. Internet connection was also spotty and unreliable. Nice big terrace overlooking other houses.

Situacion de la casa en zona muy tranquila y de facil acceso en coche, no muy lejos del centro de Pula. El trato con los propietarios es muy agradable y familiar. La habitacion es amplia y con una terracita.

J'ai parcouru la Sardaigne à vélo et testé une quinzaine d'hébergement. Celui-ci est dans le top 3 avec un accueil à l'heure qui me convenait (début d'après-midi avant les grandes chaleurs), un lit confortable dans une chambre de plain-pied bien fraîche, proche du centre-ville tout en étant calme alors que la route principale n'est pas loin non plus, supermarché tout proche. Petit regret avec le propriétaire disparu à mon départ malgré un service du petit-déjeuner impeccable.
