We arrive to this „hotel” late afternoon. It was the worst surprise I have experienced in the last 50 years of traveling the world. We looked at the proposed rooms and didn't even bring suitcases to them. The proposed rooms had no windows, they smelled of dirt. The photos on this "hotel" website do not reflect reality. The owner in a dirty T-shirt and rolled-up pants was surprised of our reaction. I believe that the offer of this pseudo hotel should never be placed on hotels.com this offer is a scam. Don't be fooled. We immediately decided to change the hotel. Despite the paid hotel day, we recovered all the money paid back thanks to a complaint on hotels.com

basic, simple

A strange hotel - I would say HOSTEL - in a strange location. Not so far from Avlabari metro station (10 min) but uphills when walking there. Simple, basic room with no extra comfort, yet everything necessary. No soundproof, no daily cleaning. Breakfast surprisingly good compared to other facilities. Friedly staff but sometimes hard to catch.

Had a good stay at hotel TATO. The staff were all brilliant and helpful. The location is good for Tbilisi. Right next to the big church, and a 20 min walk from old town area. The breakfast is good, and the views from the terrace and rooftop are excellent. The only issue I had is that my bathtub leaked, and this caused a smell. The light from the hallway also shone through to the room all night, which made it a little harder to sleep

Not happy

The first room had a big damp area under the window and it smelled foul. I had to ask the reception to give me another room. I let the very next morning because the bathroom had mold and I am allergic to it. There was no customer service agent on duty so I couldn't get a refund for the rest of the days. I don't understand who gives this place great ratings. It looked like they haven't discovered that humanity has invented bathroom cleaning supplies. Very disappointed.

My wife and I arrived quite late. We were very tired after a long journey and the heat. At the reception we were told that there was no air conditioning in the room. There were no other rooms left. The regular fan was terribly noisy all night. It's good that we were tired and were able to fall asleep quickly. While taking a shower, the water spreads almost all over the bathroom, the foot towel is soaking wet. Plus, the tap did not close and water was constantly dripping. There is practically no light in the room. A small window with bars, looks more like a prison than an attractive room for visiting the city. There is no parking nearby either, the hotel is located in the private sector, so if you arrive by car, be prepared to walk.

Lieber nicht buchen! Ich habe leider keine einzige Nacht durchgeschlafen weil Leute immer laut waren und Party gemacht habe. Das hotel hat sich nicht darum gekümmert gehabt es zu regeln und die Leute darauf hinzuweisen leide zu sein. Es war einfach jede einzelne Nacht, so das ich meinen Flug umbuchen musste um wenigstens im Flugzeug schlafen zu können eine Nacht. Das Zimmer ist komplett dreckig und es riecht nach Schimmel. Das bad war kaputt und voller Schimmel. Also Sauberkeit existiert im Zimmer leider gar nicht. Personal war in Ordnung. Das problem ist es auch dieses Hotel zu finden. Jeden Tag hat kein Taxi dieses Hotel gefunden weil immer ein anderes Hotel unter dieser Adresse angezeigt wird. Ansonsten war die Lage ganz gut, man benötigt 15-20 laufen um in der Altstadt zu sein.
