Such a great place to stay! Easy check in, great location and very clean rooms. Nice little breakfast with a coffee machine and a short easy walk to one of the most beautiful waterfalls ever. We will be back!

Our room was in a small building that reminded me of a Spanish villa. The room was on the second floor and had a view of the mountains. The bathroom was comfortable (shower was a bit small for my over 6 foot husband). Breakfast was very well stocked (prunes were a bit stale). The nearby Hotel Skógá restaurant was convenient. Access to the waterfall and related hikes was easy. A bonus is that we could walk to the Skogar Museum and the nearby forest planted by former students. My only suggestion is to provide guests with a number to call the restaurant ahead of time for reservations. We never had trouble getting a table but I would have reserved a table closer to a window if I had been given an opportunity to easily reserve one.
