I´m familiar with FLH hotels, which are always lovely. The one in Porto has a great location, perfect rooms and great service. The downside is that breakfast had to be served in the room, and therefore chosen the night before (food and slots). Bear in mind the stairs too, there are a lot!

The hotel location was excellent--very close to everything. The hotel itself had great service and was clean and high quality. However, there is NO lift in this hotel so the two flights from the street to reception and another flight up to the room was a bit of a hardship for seniors. The reception staff did help take our bags upstairs and down again, but still this seems like a real limitation you should know about before booking. The price was really excellent too for this location.

Be sure you know about the stairs, but if you have the mindset that you’re just gonna deal with them, the place is amazing! The friendliest people, the best breakfast and very comfortable beds. The location cannot be beat, and it is close to great food, shopping, and all the tourist things.
