The landhaus Kössel provided a wonderful stay for our family trip of 7 (5 adults and 2 kids) to visit the Füssen and algau area to see Hohenschwangau and Neuschwanstein. The breakfast was reasonable priced and had a great spread of options, my favorite being the option to boil your own egg. The rooms were spacious and provided some of the most stunning views of the area. Truly a top-notch one of a kind experience. The staff was also very helpful and the evening after hours check in process was helpful.

Beautiful place in a picturesque town

Lovely place in a very picturesque town. Our only issues were: 1.Check in could have been smoother if the receptionist (who chose not to come out) had been more helpful in showing us to our room. Specially since we arrived within regular reception hours ~ 3pm. We were left to wander around a bit before eventually finding our room in another building. 2. Also, some tea/coffee sachets would be very welcome in the rooms. 3. The pillows are like a square sack of potatoes. Absolutely no support. These need replacing in my opinion. Otherwise a very lovely property. Would stay again.

The hotel was in a beautiul location. Housekeeping did not clean our room . We stayed 2 nights. We rented an apartment. No paper towels, only one tea towel. Trash in our rooms was not removed while we stayed there. No clean towels. Room could use a little decoration with coloed paint, wallpaper or even pictures on the wall.

It is a stone's throw from a wonderful lake (took an early morning swim), and also enjoyed the small natural pond with belongs to the collection of buildings that comprise the Landhaus. This hotel was the highlight of our vacation. Straight out of a fairytale with horses on site, cows next door, a beautiful lake in walking distance—picture perfect! Peaceful stay outside of Fussen. This place was an oasis - we stayed in the cabin down by the pool and it was the perfect getaway. We had a pool, grill, picnic table, and fire pit outside. Inside was spacious with a luxurious bathroom shower and tub. Right near the lake too which was so warm!! We enjoyed staying in here much more than going into the town of Fussen.
