Filthy hotel, should be fumigated.

We arrived at hotel at 9pm. Given room key. Even going to room, the hotel smelt dirty. Got to room, sat on the bed and there was a horrible smell. We traced the smell to the mattress, which looked like it had been used as a toilet. Went to reception to complain and was told all the other rooms were just the same as it was a budget hotel. Tried to contact Hotels.com to no avail. We tried all local hotels to try to get a room, again to no avail. As my husband is disabled we had no alternative but to go back to the hotel. On getting back to the hotel the man on reception as good as laughed as us, and said he told us we wouldn't get anywhere else. So we had no alternative but to go back to the room. We ended up watching tv until 2am, lying on top of the bed in our pj's and onesies, with the window open as the smell was that bad. The bed was so disgusting that you could not have got under the covers. We would recommend NOT to use this hotel as it truly is filthy and we are disgusted by the fact that Hotels.com have this hotel listed on their website. If you do book this hotel we would recommend you do remove the sheet and look at the mattress before sleeping on it. Please see the photos we have put on.

Will never stay here again

Very dirty, ripped blind, noisy. The toilets and showers are seperate to the room, very dirty, strong smell of urine.

Get what you pay for.....

Adequate accommodatio. Very basic, motel style rooms. Shared toilets and showers. Room had sink and tv. Sheets were clean and towels and a bar of soap provided. Reception staff were nice and friendly.

Mushrooms growing in the shower which in its self was a combined shower toilet and sink Day 2 the cleaner had removed the mushrooms which were not new but missed the dirty floor the wall side of the toilet .Duvet seemed to smell door hard to unlock and lock one headboard (Twin room with suite) was ripped.The page was not clear about the kitchen made it seem like you had one in your room which was doubtfull.Tv remote handed over with keys felt like a prision batteries were flat had to hold right next to tv to use.

Barato y muy sencillo. Ideal para hotel de paso

Los que busquen calidad que no vayan. No es un hotel para largas estancias, ni para presumir de vacaciones. Es un motel de carretera, con lo básico para domir. Si quieres pagar mucho más, hay hoteles al lado mismo que te costarán mucho más y la calidad será mejor. Hay que saber lo que se compra. No pongas excusas que Escocia es un país caro y hoteles a este precio no existen. El que quiera ahorrarse dinero que vaya al Metro Inns, pero que no se queje luego. Habitación tipo camarote de barco, con toallas limpias y cafetera de cortesía gratis.
