Was so excited to stay at this place but we had to leave in the middle of the night as we found bed bugs. Since it was in the middle of the night, we had to sleep in the car to avoid being further bitten.

Lovely old style Bed and Breakfast. Quirky and comfortable. Host was very friendly (ask to see photos of volcano eruption!). Great location for a quick trip. Shared bath(s) was a bit awkward but fine really. Breakfast selection was immense and very good.

quirky B&B

Quirky. One night and twin beds for mom and daughter worked. Bathrooms downstairs make you sort of not want to shower. Towels interesting. Nice breakfast. Had to wait at the airport despite giving info needed ahead of time. Flight number given and landed on time but it was a cruise charter and did not show up as an inbound flight so did not get picked up until we waited and had to call and wait again. The knick knacks and antiques were amazing. Close to the walkway on the shore.

Iceland last night

Rooms for two were comfortable. Could use more hooks to hang in the coats or any type of clothes. Food options near the place wasn’t any. But their location near to the airport is very convenience. They also offer transportation for a fee to the airport. Isn’t bad and is a few per room. Not per person. The only thing I didn’t know or I didn’t read about the share bathroom. But wasn’t that bad, but not ideal for me.

Very convenient stay for this first night in Iceland. Our host kindly waited for us, despite our late arrival during the night. Very good breakfast. I recommend for a first night here, 8mn away from the airport.

Had a lovely one night stay at this charming bed and breakfast before leaving Iceland. Enjoyed the cozy atmosphere, old world feel, and unique decor. A bonus is the outdoor hot tub for a nice soak after a long day traveling from Akureyri. Comfortable bed and room as well as a nice hot shower. Owner was very friendly and hospitable. I also enjoyed the conversations about Icelandic history. Would recommend a stay here for a comfortable and unique experience close to the airport and Reykjanes.
