After we got placed in another room it was great. Very accommodating and Jennifer leaves the 3rd floor rooms spotless and fresh smelling.

I have never had to leave a bad review for a hotel before until I spent my time here. Coming from the hospitality industry myself, I can understand sometimes things happen that may be out of the staff control. I had originally booked the place for few days, but had a delay in arriving into town. I added a second reservation there to extend my trip since I came in late since online did not allow me to extend. So I called the front desk in advance before making the change to assure that both my reservations would keep me in the same room. I asked the front desk three times if I could keep the room so I didn't have to move all my work equipment and front desk said yes three times, but not once blocked the room to assure no one else would book it and add my reservation to that room. This was after they told me my room was available to extend.
Hence why I asked three times because I was worried this would happen. Front desk never combined my reservation. MOD just said it was Hotels.com problem and not theirs. He was rude too. So. We left early and our entire trip was ruined. We drove ten hours after a long work weeks in hopes to stay there and relax and not move all our work equipment we had to bring into our room. To top it off, front desk never even charged the right card we gave her at the FD upon check in nor did they event greet guests checking jn. Only staff member that was kind and tried to help was Cleaning MOD. Disappointing for a prime location in San Marcos.

Lovely girl checked me in. Room was great. Breakfast great. Overall very impressed compared to other places I stayed at on a 3 week trip.
