If you want a comfortable stay in Ushuaia, absolutely avoid this hotel.
On the very first day, the hair dryer was broken. When I turned it on, it started to smell like burning smoke, which was honestly frightening. I reported it and was told they would bring a new one the next day. That didn’t help at all, since my hair was already soaking wet. I had no choice but to go to bed without drying it.
The next day, when I returned to the hotel around 4:00 PM, I was told that my key card didn’t work and I couldn’t enter my room. I contacted the staff, and they said they would unlock the door remotely and asked me to wait. I waited, but the door never opened. When I contacted them again, they said someone would bring a key and told me to wait again. About 30 minutes later, the key finally arrived. Not being able to enter your own room when you want to is incredibly inconvenient, and to make things worse, there wasn’t even a single apology.
When I tried to express my frustration, I was ignored and instead asked what time I would be checking out.
Finally, although there is a stove in the room, it doesn’t work properly. Technically, you can light it using a lighter, but the flame goes out the moment you release the ignition button, so you have to keep holding it down the entire time. No one would want to use a stove like that.
Overall, I do not recommend this hotel at all.
