Perfect location. Connected to Sendai Station. Lots of shopping malls and restaurants around. Convenient location. Space wise is OK. It has got everything you need for a trip.

10/10 Exceptional

The location is great as it is connected to the station. Facilities are well maintained, lounge is convenient for a nice cuppa of coffee. However, the hotel is more for business traveller and for short stay, there is no coin laundry facility thus it’s a bit inconvenient if needed self service laundry for family with kids.

Convenient to Shinkansen gate. Very efficient flow at check in. Room small, but shower and tub fabulous.

10/10 Exceptional

The room and the bathroom were large. I appreciated the spacious closet. Attached to Sendai and a large shopping mall makes it one of the best Western-type hotels I have stayed in the 55 years I have been traveling to Japan. The staff was very helpful in helping us send our luggage to our Ueno hotel. Also, Sendai is a great Shinkansen Station to use for day trips to other places in the Tohoku region.

Nice hotel adjacent Sendai train station. Very convenient. Nice room and larger than the Ginza hotel we were just at. Very reasonable - three nights was about equivalent to one Ginza night. Tub with separate modern shower was decent size. Sink area small for our two sets of toiletries. We really like this hotel and would return.

10/10 Exceptional

This was hands-down my favorite hotel during my stay in Japan. From the moment I arrived, everything felt effortless and elegant. The hotel is located right above Sendai Station, making it extremely convenient for train connections and exploring the city. Despite the central location, the rooms are peaceful, spacious, and beautifully designed, with large windows offering stunning views of Sendai—truly a highlight. Unlike many hotels in Japan, coffee was provided in the room, which I really appreciated. It’s a small touch that made a big difference in starting my day comfortably. Another standout was the in-room massage service, which I used twice during my stay—both sessions were excellent, with professional staff who helped me unwind after long sightseeing days. The overall experience was seamless: stylish, calm, and incredibly well-located. I would stay here again in a heartbeat and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Sendai.

6/10 Good

Environmental protection or cost saving?

Hotel location is good as it links to JR station. For the room cleaning, it has default you don't need it unless you press the room cleaning button the night before. I ended up forgot to press the button and when I returned to the room, no one tidy up the room, no water with trash staying there. While I also stayed in the same chain hotel in Akita, the way they did it is far more better. They assume you'll need room cleaning unless you told them you don't. Hope the Sendai East hotel can rethink this so called "environmental protection policy" and improve their services.
