Great base to explore the town centre and Altstadt on foot. The room was great for 1 person, might be a little cramped for a couple for more than 1 night. Coffee or a kettle in the room would be a good edition. I was a little disappointed in the bread/pastry selection at breakfast. Room was good value for money and I would definitely stay here again in the future.

On the negative side - being waked up at 8.10 in the morning due to housekeeping thinking it’s a good idea to star at vaccum clean the carpets in the corridor just outside our room (207). Front desk helped us to change room to (101) however in the very early morning when kitchen staff starts working - the noice gets up the staircase because the staircase door by front desk isn’t closed. So good ideas to stay higher up in the hotel. The bathroom lighting is problematic, it turns on automatically and the bathroom walls are all in glass - so when going in the night, it will bake up your partner, not ideal. Positive - very good location, comfortable bed and linen, good shower, very good staff in front desk and breakfast service,

Clean and modern hotel in great location close to shops, cafes, trams. Construction at the end of the block was noisy at times but otherwise quiet.Ten minute walk to the Rhein, Carlsplaz and Konigsalee. They offer breakfast for a fee but it would have been nice to have coffee/tea in the rooms.

We had an excellent experience staying at The Fritz . Great room - spacious and comfortable, spotlessly clean and the staff were really nice and always helpful. Breakfast was also excellent and served in a lovely area - the whole hotel has a good atmosphere. It’s in a quiet street but everywhere is very accessible for walking to. Highly recommended.

Rarely give reviews but happy to in this case. The Fritz is a lovely hotel. Roughly a 15 minute walk to the main station, and about 10 minutes to the central area of Dussuldorf, we found it was an ideal location that meant we didn't feel the need to use public transport at all. The room was large and spotlessly clean, and we agreed that the shower was the best we had ever used! The breakfast offered plenty of choice (although no fried/grill options) and was all beautifully presented. The restaurant is Michelin starred for those looking for fine dining in the evening. Would definitely make this a first choice if I was to return to Dusseldorf.

Grundsätzlich gut. Online-Checkin und Gepäckaufbewahrung haben gut funktioniert, auch wenn ich mich zu keiner Zeit mit einem Ausweis authentifiziert habe. Folgende Punkte haben mir nicht gefallen, für eine Nacht konnte ich allerdings damit leben. Im Taschentuchspender waren nur wenige Blätter. Bei der Duschkabine gab es keine Tür, wodurch das Badezimmer und der Flurbereich beim Duschen überschwemmt wurden
