Retour à Zuni

Le petit déjeuner est complet et très bon. La literie est confortable. C’était la chambre 34 magnifiquement décorée comme l’ensemble des petites maisons. Le village de Zuni semble par contre un peu l’abandon ; c’est une impression de l’extérieur et comparée à notre dernière visite il y a plus de 20 ans.

Comfortable, charming and super friendly!

This is a comfortable, charming, family-run property. The hosts care deeply about your comfort and happiness. The fried chicken in their restaurant is some of the best I’ve ever had. The portions are incredible. Don’t miss the blue corn pancakes for breakfast!

The Inn at Halona is a gem. Quiet, cool, comfortable and charming with modern conveniences as well (AC, wifi, breakfast and good coffee). Walking into the Inn from a hot dusty day was one of the best arrival experiences I have enjoyed in many years of travel.

We enjoyed 2 nights in the hotel and absolutely liked the design of our room. Unfortunately the beds were not very comfortable. Breakfast was wonderful! We loved the concept that all the guest sit at the same table. We also had dinner in the restaurant and it was perfect. The staff (hotel/restaurant/shop) was very friendly and helpful.

My husband’s comment upon arriving in the parking lot at the Inn at Halona was simply: “You’re kidding!” From the outside it appears to be a couple of weather beaten buildings with aging fences around. The inn keepers are totally hospitable on the inside though. We checked in around 3 and were shown to our room. It was number one, particularly cozy with a tiny shower. Everything worked and was clean, breakfast was amazing. Zuni and this place are charming. We highly recommend.

A rustic place full of local art and furnishings. Comfortable and quiet. Spent much of our time in common living room and met wonderful people. Feels like you are staying at a friend’s home! Breakfast was fantastic! If you are looking for luxury and privacy, this may not be for you. But if you want to experience New Mexico: This is IT!
