This is a self check in property. The old building was fun to stay at. The ghosts did not bother us, I think they enjoyed our music (played softly) Rooms are quiet, we did not hear anyone else.

The Victor is a MUST!

This is our second time at the Victor and will definitely stay again if anywhere close. It is a great historical building and has been updated nicely since our last visit but still has that old historical feel.

Our room was fantastic on the fourth floor with a brick wall in part of the room! The hotel had a virtual concierge so no in person contact. We also thought there was an operating restaurant in the building due to the write up about the hotel but unfortunately not.

Misleading

The room wasn't cleaned well. There was still food in the fridge from previous guests and hair in the tub. The atmosphere was great. We were disappointed that there isn't actually a bar/ restaurant on site. The ad is misleading

Hotel was average for a historic property. The restaurant wasn’t open in the morning. We never saw other people, but were in late and out early. Tub wasn’t clean and had hair in it.

Very interesting old hotel, not for luxury.

The Hotel is over 100 years old, that’s why we wanted to stay there. There was no front desk to check in but the owners were efficient at getting the PIN code to unlock the room via text message. We knew there was no a/c & that was ok. The floors weren’t vacuumed, there were someone else’s black hairs & dried dead bugs in the bed. An empty plastic cup was on the windowsill, I got bug bites on my shoulder. Went to use a clean folded wash cloth and it had many many hairs embedded in the cloth. I can’t imagine the expense of refurbishing and maintaining a building like this, but the housekeeping needs too be better.
