Nicely arranged room and facilities, big soft towels, friendly and helpful staff. We had a lovely few days in this little sea front hotel with amazing view of the whole prom, and the sound of the waves. We would be happy to return. The mattress has seen better days, but when i requested an extra duvet as it was very cold, the staff obliged, but then the heating was much warmer overnight, and it wasn't needed.
There is coffee and tea (including a sweet little teapot) and hot chocolate, and downstairs, you have use of a fridge, microwave, and kitchen. There is currently no breakfast option, but it has facilities to make your own or the nearby Premier Inn and other places to buy breakfast out. There is also a nice downstairs lounge. There might be a small food area but it was closed when we were there in January.
You can park for 4 hours outside, and overnight for free if you can get a spot quick is great, and you can people watch from the window as the dogwalkers go past, or just step straight out on to the Prom. It's a shame the double glazed windows aren't clear, presumably with constant sea salt, as that marrs the view somewhat. But it is definitely worth getting a sea view room here. I can't imagine staying here and having a view of the back!
All in all, a little gem and thoroughly recommended. Hooe to stay here again.
