The heater didn't work well, so we were freezing at night. Also, breakfast could have offered healthier alternatives, like lactose-free or oat milk. There was a pointless connecting door in our room leading to the next room, and we could hear everything from next door. We felt uneasy and had absolutely no privacy. We were constantly worried about our belongings whenever we left the room. The room reeked of cigarettes; a nauseating smell had permeated everything. When we asked the front desk, they told us smoking was allowed in all rooms and there was nothing they could do. We tried to open the window to air it out, but since there were no screens, the room filled with mosquitoes. There wasn't a single drop of drinking water in the room. We were dying of thirst the first night and had no options. In the bathroom, there was a useless, single-ply roll of toilet paper that was already three-quarters empty. Even though we paid for three nights, we had to forfeit one night and escape early.

The rooms were very good, clean tidy and very comfortable but I would avise against booking with breakfast included as it was limited to just a few items and was down in the basement. There was a place The Hunger which offered great choices of breakfast just 300 metres from hotel

Dont go if you care about cleanliness and comfort

The place was very dirty and smelled a lot of smoke. We got another room but also that one was dirty. It looked very used and old and with the emergency exit door from the apartment and out you could see between the wall and the floor through a gap outside and down 5 floors. Didn't seem very safe. They refused to give us a refund. We checked out and left the hotel.

Very helpful and friendly reception, excellent breakfast maid, good location: easy to drive, restaurants and shopping malls around, car parking available on the street (but arrive early on FB Ulker event days), clean room. Prefer the rooms with balcony. Reception promptly resets the new revised AC when needed. Good price/service.

Good hotel with 3 issues

It was awkward to have a door to the nearby suite. Though it was closed, I felt a bit unsafe during my stay. Also, there was a small issue with the room door alarms. When we came and closed the door, it immediately turned on the alert. The same happened in some other room at night and woke me up in a panic. The last thing that was nuts was unturnable off TV. It turned on every time I turned it off with the remote. To be honest, I do not want to see Turkish news about Mr Erdoğan. I plug it off from the socket. That helped. But the overall experience was okay. If I'll ever need to go to that part of Istanbul, I'll stay there.
