Difficult to assess as visited in early March, so very much out of season. No hot food on premises. Swimming pool cool (heating issues) on the two occasions we tried, Steam room and jacuzzi were OK, Sauna was out of action. Pool Showers out of action on first visit. Enjoyed the 9 hole pitch and putt. Staff were friendly and helpful. Stayed in the Manor House (a one bedroom apartment), rooms were spacious but real mix of quality of furnishings. Plenty of hot water and ample heating. Outside areas looking in need of work (uneven paving slabs etc).

Needs a little TLC - but well worth the visit

Overall we had a great trip, beautiful mountains, relaxing family time, good food and beer. The facilities need a little TLC but the facilities are there. We had our own communal space which you don't get in a standard hotel room, we swam indoors and outdoors, used the steam room and Jacuzzi, we played pool and games in the reception area, Table tennis and volley ball in the village hall, played golf and tennis and had lovely walks along the trim trail and then there was the rest of Wales.

Arrived early but luckily I was allowed to check in. Beautiful scenery in the heart of Wales. Property a little dated with a few faults but beyond that had a lovely weekend. The outdoor pool was very busy but expected because of the beautiful weather. Would definitely recommend.

Facilities and accomodation dated. Lovely grounds and location. But loose and missing pavings on steps. Dirty dead moth filled apartments and indoor swimming pool with huge sections of tiles missing. Such a shame that things feel rough around the edges given the potential of the place.
