La Cabrière is a hidden gem and a home away from home. The rooms are beautifully comfortable and spotlessly clean. The grounds are stunning with beautiful gardens and an array of wildlife. Breakfast is fabulous with lovely choices of both continental and cooked items. Both pool areas on the property are perfect, with enough beds and privacy to enjoy the South African sun. The position of the property is perfect, a 6-7 walk down to town which has a great selection of shops and restaurants and Easy access to all the vineyards. Lisa and her team took great care of and we enjoyed another exceptional stay. We can’t wait to return.

Within walking distance of Franschhoek dining this is an incredible location with wonderful views. We had the villa with private pool and it was magnificent and very private. We would recommend this accommodation for a peaceful stay.

What a find, in beautiful grounds with superb mountain views! Quiet area but easy walk into Franschhoek town (15mins). Lisa the Manager was excellent as were the rest of the staff; very attentive and pleasant throughout. The two pools offer more than enough room for all the guests to chill out, and they serve an adequate free breakfast. Although no food at other times of the day, it's easy to order in and eat outside in the wonderful garden surroundings. Really enjoyable experience...thank you.

Dit is waar je wilt overnachten in Franschhoek !!

Geweldig verblijf in een van de mooiste B&B’s die ik ooit heb gezien. Ruime lichte kamers die er als nieuw uitzien. Een prachtige tuin met twee zwembaden, en een zeer goed verzorgd ontbijt. Lisa is een zeer ervaren en uitstekende host.

Should have been a great weekend in Franschoek

In our room, the toilet and A/C were not working properly, and due to it being the weekend repair wasnt possible. Property manager was apologetic about it. The wardrobe had only a rail for shirts and folded trousers, no space cor a summer dress etc.

The accommodation is very beautiful in everything - rooms, pools, garden,… The Host was very nice and had good lunch/dining recommendations for us. The breakfast was really good and offered us a big variety. The room and bathroom was clean and pretty. There are enough parking spots. We would definitely come back when we are in Franschhoek.

We enjoyed our stay at La Cabriere country house in Franschhoek. The staff were very friendly and the owner was very helpful and lovely as well. The property was stunning, with 2 different pools and lots of areas to sit outside. Breakfast was delicious. The room was cozy and had mostly everything we needed. Location was wonderful, very safe, only a short distance to the main town and so many amazing vineyards nearby. It felt like a private holiday for us as not many guests were there due to the recent floods in Sept (impacted us not having heating for the first night or wifi). Overall great place to stay, highly recommend!
