At first I was a little hesitant to book this hotel only due to the location in the pictures but I'm glad I did. The hotel was clean inside, easy quick check-in, a beautiful patio surrounded by lovely plants. Staff was present daily, keeping the area clean and tidy. The location of the hotel was even better. Far away enough from the busy streets of Avalon but a close walk to through the little town. I will definitely be back!

This was a great place. Good value. Our room had a kitchen and we were able to get meals that we could prepare which helped us save money for the attractions . The Vons was just a couple hundred feet away. Able to get groceries quickly. Saves on the price of restaurants. The room had a coffee maker and coffee. The staff were wonderful and they even stored our luggage for us. All in all, a great place. Would recommend.

This is a beautiful property, quiet, away from the crowds. I was grateful for the disabled type room on the bottom floor. The only negative was that the people above us were so noisy. They kept us up after midnight and woke us up by 6am each day with their stomping and moving chairs.

We loved this place! Our cottage was exceptionally clean, the grounds are so beautiful and full of character and color. The price was very affordable, the staff was very friendly and helpful, and the area of town was very quiet. We also enjoyed the historical significance of the cottages, which are over 100 years old. It is a bit of a walk from the main street with some uphill at the end but is doable for those who aren't disabled. Our cottage was certainly not high end, but we didn't expect that for the price. We highly recommend!

I love simple, cute, and cozy and this place was all that and more. It's an older cottage style room with a kitchen. Nothing luxurious but adorable. The bed was so comfortable and the bedding was fresh and clean. The patios have grills and lots of sitting areas. We will definitely come back.
