2/10 Poor

Made a reservation for a room with two beds as I was spending the night with my family wife / two kids. When we got there we got a room with one bed. Told them about my reservation and they basically said too bad it's all we have left. Tried to get a refund and was told that the manager wasn't available to talk to. Would not recommend this hotel

Great value

I've stayed here a few times over the years & the property is one of the most affordable options in the Leadville-area. The perks are free wifi, free parking & free breakfast. I've always had a good experience.

Severely understaffed. Property is aged, but fresh paint. Carpet could be better. This is not handicapped accessible so beware. No elevators. And no refunds if you leave early

I was perfectly happy. I needed a room for the night, and that's what I got. The hotel looks like an abandoned army barracks, and the driveway is full of potholes. But staff were friendly and helpful, and make note of this: My room was SPOTLESS. Whoever these guys are, they run a good operation. If you want a resort, go to Copper Mountain. I will stay here again.

4/10 Fair

Tried to check in early. Had a gathering and was not allowed to check in until after 3. The tv didn't work at all. The continental breakfast was ridiculous. The orange juice was watered down. Most continental breakfasts have some kind if fresh fruit this place had nothing. This hotel should accommodate early check ins.

Don’t try to get breakfast when it supposedly open

The continental breakfast was at 6:30. Myself and another gentleman arrived at 6:28, and we both were angrily told that breakfast starts at 6:30. I returned at 6:40 to see a mom with two kids being angrily turned away just like I had been. I usually stay here with my son when we go skiing but I will not stay at this property again. I understand that everything may not be set up at 6:30 but the way myself and others were talked to was truly out of line.

Out dated deco. Smelled old and musty. Paper thin walls. Was not dirty but was not clean. It was as though just the bare minimum was being done to keep the doors open.

2/10 Poor

My window didn’t even have a lock on it and I was on the first floor. No screen either so I had to wedge something to keep it closed so I wasn’t murdered at night while I tried to sleep.

It was a good place to stay. The bed was comfortable and clean. The free breakfast was good including waffles, cereal, toast, juice, coffee, and yogurt. The staff was very nice and helpful. The only drawback was that you have to drive to get to any restaurants. This was the 2nd time that I stayed here and I would definitely stay again.
