Good location, was a 20 minute walk to Edinburgh Castle, Arthur’s Seat hike and Princes Street. The private bathroom was good and the staff were nice as well. The only thing of note was that the bed was quite uncomfortable, so just something to keep in mind if you’re a bad sleeper.

affordable but sparse room for the fringe festival

This was what we were expecting, sparse but affordable accommodations during the fringe festival. It was a 20-25 minute walk to festival venues (or a 10 minute bus ride). Tight for two people, but was clean and staff were friendly. There's a friendly pub (The Regent) a few minutes away, that we used for common space as the rooms are so small. We had a lovely view of Arthur's Seat.

Pleasant, welcoming and fit for purpose. Condition of communal area tatty and bathroom could be cleaner. Staff friendly and helpful. Good location and great to have Sainsburys and bus stop near by. Superb for park and Arthur's seat, access to Royal Mile and train station. All in all - I would stay again. Price reflects accomodation and clearly states it is not a hotel. I enjoyed my stay in Edinburgh.

Unconventional location for a holiday as techically as its not a hotel but out of season uni dormitory rooms, good value for your money considering the London style prices of Edinburgh today, and with buses nearby going into Edinburgh within 10 or 15 minutes in a great location

Mycket trevlig och hjälpsam personal och smidig in- och utcheckning. Det negativa var att rummet var väldigt varmt och att det var högljutt utanför nattetid. Sängarna var också i minsta laget. Dock fräscht och bra gångavstånd från Edinburgh centrum.
