We booked last minute for a wedding and the man who helped us (I believe his name was..? David?😅) was so nice! He informed us that they were closing soon for the season and I felt bad bc it felt like walking in 10 minutes before a restaurant closes. He washed those worries away immediately! He was welcoming, kind and polite. It snowed the day before we got to the motel and when we arrived the room was warm with the lights on and the tv going! We will definitely have to come back! The motel was clean, comfortable and charming!

This is a great little old style motel. The family that runs it has owned it since the 50's. They have done very well keeping it updated and clean. We absolutely loved staying here again. I just wish it was a few miles closer to WCU.

Great little old school motel that has been well-kept. Room was super clean, owner is very kind and helpful, check-in was easy, and coffee was available in the lobby at 7am. We especially enjoyed the pool after a long day of travel. Great value, would definitely stay here again.

This place was so cute and very clean. The gentleman at the front desk was so nice and gave us a local map and told us the best places to eat. He also gave us a map of the waterfalls when we told him that is what we were in town for.

Wifi does not work (2x stays) at this hotel

Wifi at this hotel does not work. This is the second time we stayed here, and the second time the wifi did not work. The office closes at 7 (closed at 5 unexpectedly on this stay) and there was no contact for the wifi to be reset or to troubleshoot. It's a great little place, with great people and a great room (quiet even though on the main road), but if you need or want wifi, choose another place.
