Anchorage Motel was a solid choice for staying in Bar Harbor. The rooms were clean and comfortable and the front office staff were very helpful. The location was great-easily walkable to all the shops and restaurants in town.

The hotel was nice, but not great. It was clean for the most part, but there were stains on the carpet and on the furniture. Bathroom was clean, beds were clean and comfortable. Great location. Just needs a bit of updating.

Great Bar Harbor location

Motel style with room entry for my exterior door on the upstairs walkway. The room was quite spacious and comfortable. Location was great with easy walking to the downtown Bar Harbor area for restaurants. Plentiful parking. No breakfast provided but they did have 2417 tea and coffee in the lobby and the people working at the front desk were very friendly. Kudos to Susie for her friendly manner first thing in the morning

Great location and simple stay

The staff were kind and the room was clean and simple. The best part is the location, as you can walk simply and safely into town in just a few minutes. Great restaurants and shops nearby. My one recommendation is to get a room on the second floor. On the first floor, the ceilings are super thin, and when the little kid ran around above us, it sounded like a herd of elephants.

Perfect location and clean

Excellent location a few minutes walk to main restaurant and shopping area and 5 minute drive to Arcadia NP. All staff were friendly and went out of their way to be helpful. Room was very clean. Parking was easy and included. Tea, coffee, hot water, microwave and filtered water free in lobby. Mini fridge in room. Beds were a bit on the firm side but ok and pillows were a bit too stiff for me. Price seemed very high but is on par with other places in the area.
