Garlands Del Rio is a boutique hotel. Every room is different and unlike anything I’ve stayed in before. The hotel is old, in a historic/beautiful kind of way. The pool is modest, nothing fancy but it’s all you need to cool off after a long day. The pool bar is “honor code” style, take what you need and write it down.The staff are very nice people. Shout out to Rigo, Martha, and Iván. Martha recommended a local beach spot that ended up being our favorite part of our trip. Enjoy the hotel cats as they lounge around. Sit on your balcony and enjoy the live music pour in from the bistro across the river. Sleep with your windows open and let the city soothe you into a slumber. As a young female traveler, I highly recommend this hotel. Disclaimer: the room does not have a bathroom door! If this is a concern to you, please ask before you book. Thank you Garlands Del Rio.
