The staff at the VIA hotel were very kind and helpful. We arrived in Taipei at 4 am. The staff kindly let us check in when a room became available later in the day before the normal check in time. Don’t usually love staying in the middle of hectic Ximending, but did find a quiet restaurant right nearby to eat with mom before we left! Lots of free snacks in lobby cafe. Staff very accommodating. Amazing customer service. We had a last second canceled flight that caused us to be 2 days late for stay and arrive super early morning. Hotel provided us a discount even though we canceled a night stay the day of. Staff was waiting for us morning we arrived with check-in details prepared in advance.
