There was a small patio overlooking the creek--quiet, green, tree-shaded yard with the sound of the small waterfall in the creek.

While a dated building, the room was fine. Good light to shave by and excellent hot water. It is within a few yards of the creek, so there is the sound of rushing water.

The stream out back was nice! The humming bird room was old and spiderwebs everywhere. The most uncomfortable full size bed me and my hubby ever slept on! It squeezed every time you move and our neck and back hurt in the morning.

Birthday Disappointment

We have stayed at this property several times over the last 10 years. First 2 times where great. The last few times it has seemed to go down hill. Property looks dirty and cluttered. Works parked there vehicles so that we where unable to park in our designated area. Refrigerator was not good, shelve was broken, brace for door was missing. Ants around bathroom door and tv. Hot tub did not work. Window coverings where so sheer you could look straight into the bed. Bed was so creeky and moved easily. Over all a disappointment.

This is the second time we’ve stayed in the hummingbird cabin. This place is so quaint and peaceful! We love sitting on the little deck with our morning coffee listening to the creek and watching the hummingbirds. It’s so quiet despite the highway being so close.

This little lodge was amazing, and the view of the Creek was so peaceful. I did not want to leave. I felt so relaxed, and just the stunning beauty of the property around us was so amazing. I understand some people like to be catered to and if you do, this is not for you. It is not a spa they do not have 24-hour catering services but if you want time alone, to relax and unwind, it is an amazing place.

Beautiful location! We loved the river/accessibility. There was not a map on the door like it says so there was a little confusion finding our place. But we called the number and got it sorted out! There are not coffee filters or cups for the coffee pot! But luckily we had our own cups. And remembered to buy some filters to leave there for future stayers use! Definitely needs some updates in the shower department(referring to the Americana room) leaks like crazy/loose boards. We loved it though! And would definitely stay again! Just stating obvious conditions.
