Deer Valley Lodge was a great place to stay with our two kids. We loved that there was a bar with food options available, as well as a little shop with things we may need. Our kids enjoyed the pool and water features! The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The grounds were beautiful with nice outdoor sitting areas. Great stay!

Staff was excellent especially Wednesday afternoon check-in. Don't remember her name but she handled the check-in procedure in a speedy and most professional manner. She at all times was pleasant, cheerful with a sincere desire to make everyone in our group feel welcome and tend to our requests. We appreciated the room complete with a comfortable bed, nicely functioning AC, easy to use TV, mini-frig with freezer compartment, and bathroom divided into two parts. The complimentary breakfast was a bit thin, but adequate. Hotel staff were pleasant and helpful!

Front desk attendant seemed annoyed that we checked in. The room was filled with house flies dead and alive. The pool had so many house flies floating in the water. The pool equipment had some rust and some broken pets of the stairs to the slide. Overall, I would NOT recommend.

Pleasantly surprised, for a non-chain facility. They did have an attached waterpark, which I did not use, but people seem to enjoy it. Breakfast is also pretty good.
