Overall Impression: The only redeeming qualities of this hotel are it’s the location and the friendly staff. Unfortunately, the positives are completely overshadowed by the utterly unacceptable condition and lack of basic amenities for a room costing $260 per night. This property is dramatically overpriced and fails to meet even basic hospitality standards. Major Issues (The Value Disconnect): • Maintenance & Cleanliness: The hotel is clearly very old and poorly maintained. The room lacked essential cleaning standards; there was no change of bed sheets during my three-day stay, and towels were only changed once. • Room Deficiencies: There were absolutely no basic amenities in the room, and no spare blankets were provided. The room felt incomplete and neglected. • The shower door was not working well, and the toilet seat was broken • Infrastructure: There is no elevator, which made luggage transport difficult. • Pest Control: I experienced a notable issue with mosquitoes in the room. • At this price, the breakfast needs to be of higher quality with greater variety. Conclusion: While the staff were genuinely nice, and the location is OK, the hotel's state of disrepair, lack of cleanliness, and deficient room amenities make the $260 cost per night an absolute waste of money. I strongly recommend travelers look for other options nearby that offer better value and basic comfort.

Ainda que um pouco distante do centrãode Florença, a uma caminhada de uns 30 minutos, há transporte disponível praticamente na porta. Hotel é grande mas silencioso, muito confortável. Bom café da manhã, uma ótima opção, com um custo z benefício excelente. Recomendo.

In terms of location, it was a 20-30 minute walk from all the main touristy spots with bus stops available within a 5-10 minute walk. Not too many dining options around the area and no local shop either which was not an issue for me personally. The reception staff was very friendly and the breakfast options were standard (cereal, toast, hard-boiled eggs, yoghurt, fruit and pastires). There was no lift in the building with quite a steep incline of the stairs to get to the second floor. The room main doors were also very heavy and quite hard to open as was the wardrobe door. Not an issue for me but could be an issue for indivuduals with mobility issues. The room itself was standard although old fashioned with very little decor. The bed lamp didn't even have a lamp shade, just a bare lightbulb. The bathroom was tiny, and water pressure was dissapointing. My room was also ridden with mosquitoes which made my first night impossible to sleep through. All in all, Hotel Arno Bellariva is a good hotel for a short term stay but not a place I would reccomend to stay if you're looking for more than just sleeping in the room.

MOSQUITOS!!! Near the river - not close enough for a view, but close enough for LOTS of MOSQUITOS.. no fan in the room, west sun heating up the room.. had to open the window for ventilation.. no screen. FALSELY advertises AC- NO AC!!! Not even a fan in the room. Falsely advertises room service. When i asked about room service hotel replied i was not even allowed to eat food in my room at all. HORRIBLE experience. Do not recommend. Absolutely AWFUL ..
