I made a reservation in October for December 29. The confirmation email, approx. two pages long, only mentioned at the very bottom that checkin closes at 6pm. Unacceptable. That should be upfront in LARGE PRINT. Hotels.com finds it acceptable. I will no longer do business with them.

Arrivée 17h00 ,pas de reservation prise en compte. 1h30 plus tard ,le responsable nous fait préparer une chambre en catastrophe. Location plus que vetuste, lampes applications murales arrachées. Problemes electrique, utisation de la douche eau chaude egal dijonction electrique. Toutes piles des telecommandes HS. Rampe d'accès et luminaires exterieurs cassés ou arrachés (aucune sécurité). Aucun entretien exterieur, hotel a l'abandon. Important: location impossible pour personne à mobilité réduite ou âgée, trop de dénivelé pour accéder aux chambres. Nota: le responsable à fait de son mieux pour nous satifaire.

Beautiful over all!

It was a lovely place with lovely staff and guests. I stayed in the beach villas. Beautiful and right on the beach! A few of us all went out with the owner for dinner and to watch a live band. Fantastic evening. Garry is a genuine guy, very smart and funny, welcoming and always smiling. I'm thinking I'll be back again someday!

Great, friendly, happy, funny, helpful staff. Beautiful fruit welcome plate of fresh pineapple and watermelon. Amazing place! Going back soon!!!

Hotelroom in front of beach, very nice view. Room small but nice and good. Pool up in mountain, so you must take time to go for it and many stairs. But if at pool very nice view over la mai.

Not new facility but 10 steps to the beach

The rooms are literary 10 steps away from the beach. Hard to deny that their facilities are old but considering location and price, it's not a problem for us. This hotel consists of 2 parts, rooms on the beach and on the mountain. There are no swimming pool on beach side and only reachable by their car if you do not have your own car/bicycle. Not too busy neighborhood but there are some local diners , restaurants, convenience stores and massage parlors within 5 mins walk. 15 mins walk to center of lamai, ok access to Chaweng with 100-200thb/per by taxi during nights.

Comfortable hotel

The hotel is clean and comfortable, the staff is nice. The best part of the hotel is the beach, so it is very depending on the weather. If weather is good, this place is a good place to stay; if weather sucks, I would not choose to stay in this place. Th facilities are good compare with local hotels, but it is quiet basic. If you expect to stay in a comfortable but not luxurious place, it is a good choice (beach front room is good when weather is good)

Our first night, the water just stopped and couldn't reach the staff by phone. Once we did contact someone, the staff was very quick at fixing the problem and were very kind to us. The next day there was unfortunately a sewage smell that permeated our entire room. The staff was kind enough to let us move rooms. Unfortunately the second room had ants, and I saw a cockroach. Nothing a proper inspection shouldn't be able to fix, but it really detracted from the stay. The hotel staff really is friendly, and the view is incredible. I really hope that the issues are fixed in the near future.

Bungalow mit Top-Lage an der Lamai-Beach

Absoluter Top-Standort. Von der Veranda waren's auf dem Sandstrand gerade mal 6 - 10 m bis zum Meer-Ufer (allerdings kostet dieses Bungalow einen Standort-Aufpreis). Der Strand wird jeden Tag gewischt/gepflegt. Die Ressort-Angestellten und auch die Besitzer sind sehr freundlich. Wird etwas beanstandet, wird sofort reagiert. Kleine Nachteile: - Die Küche ist eher rudimentär eingerichtet. Allerdings lohnt es sich auch nicht, selber zu kochen (ausser natürlich, man tut es einfach gern) - Das Ressort hat "nur" einen Pool bei Seaview Paradise Mountain, aber nicht beim "Beach"-Teil. Dafür ist da natürlich das Meer so nahe. Und dafür hat's eine Aussendusche. - Gleich beim Ufer vor dem Bungalow ist das Wasser sehr seicht. Will man in tieferes Wasser, muss man ziemlich weit hinaus. Ca. 300 m weiter rechts wird's allerdings schneller tief bzw. ist das Ufer abfallender.

Steps from the beach

We had a room with beach view, it was quite simple but clean and we had everything we needed. Let me rephrase 'beach view' the room was maybe 15 steps from the beach! This hotel has two sites, one which is situated on the beach and one in the nearby mountains. We went to check out the pool at the mountain site and it was definitely worth it. Up there we met Gary, the owner, who is very friendly and he ensured we were able to get back to the beach on a time convenient to us. When we checked out the receptionist made sure to give Gary a call as he wanted to check that we were happy with our stay. We appreciated the personal touch and all in all we had a great time in Koh Samui.

Nice hotel, sea rooms are 5meters from the beach

We stayed at the beach side with mom, the room was a bit small but very clean and comfortable. WiFi works perfectly, everything was very well organised for us so we really relaxed with nobody bothering us, was great. It was out birthday, so the hotel stuff gave us a surprise cake, which was really nice. We also met the owner who was lovely.

Absolutely would return

Overall my stay was excellent.location was perfect for a place to kick back and relax yet close enough to everything that you didn't need transportation to shop or eat.the only minus I can give is that the pool was located at the mountain section of the property and that required a shuttle to get to. And just a caution about the mountain property it is on a mountain and there are steps no matter where you go. it also looks like a nice place but for age or health reasons I would pick buy the ocean

Garantiert keine Nachbarn zu hören und zu sehen

Die Bungalows in den Bergen sind ein Traum für alle, die absolut ihre Ruhe haben wollen! Dafür nahm ich gerne den ca1km langen Weg nach Lamai in Kauf- zumal jederzeit gratis Fahrdienst angeboten wurde. Etwas Stufen steigen muss man aber trotzdem können. Sehr geschmackvoll und gepflegte Anlage. Aufmerksames Personal, das sogar unausgesprochene Wünsche zB nach weiteren Handtüchern, Bettdecken erkannte. Einziger Wermutstropfen, rund um Samui wurde die Würfelqualle gesehen, im Oktober starb eine Frau aus Deutschland daran. So ging ich nur in den Pool, der ebenfalls in den Berg Bungalows angesiedelt ist.

Good place and veery good value!

Very good service. Nah (sorry if I misspell her name) was a gardian angel, extremely service minded and professional. Anything we would need (information, recommendation, additional towels or baby chair and cot), she would fix in no time! The villas are fine, practically furnished and clean. Cleaning services every day. On the minus point, the hotel is located a bit further than I thought from Lamai beach (yet not very far neither)and a swimming pool, even a small one, in the beach villas would have been very appreciated for the kids.

Fortjener ikke 4 stjerner

Greit personal men dette hotel fortjener absolutt ikke 4 stjerner. Rommene er små og veldig overmøblert. Ikke varmt vann på badet og stranden var fin men ikke noe badestrand. Måtte gå ca 100 meter ut for å bli våt på badeshortsen. Hotellet har heller ingen restaurant så måtte gå et stykke for å få frokost om morgenen.
