My feedback is constructive criticism because I want the place to stay open! We love the inn!
The older lady at front desk really struggled with basic communication. We were asked THREE times if we were part of a group checking in. We weren't. She scowled at me when I asked when wine and cheese was served and said "oh, you want wine??? Fine- I guess I'll call my son back." She seemed upset when I needed to go back to the room after check out because I left my swimsuit in the shower (more on that later) because she was "just about to take a nap". I'm patient to a point but basic hospitality services are appreciated especially when you have been traveling for 32 hours to get there. Inhospitable staff will bring a place to a full stop so fast- please hire someone who can do the job.
The hot tub has zero lights and a 6" gap between the deck and the tub. It's a broken ankle and lawsuit waiting to happen. Please install lights and close that dangerous gap!
Paid for 2 extra family members at breakfast, were given a rate via email and the request to bring cash, and when we handed Jason the $20 bill he said oh, that's the old rate. Not cool.
I had left my swimsuit in the shower. I went back to check even though the lady said the girls already cleaned the room & didn't find anything...swimsuit was still in shower + my dirty towel + the dirty sheets and someone else's clothing in the armoire. GROSS.
Got a 1 night credit so I'll clean the bathroom again myself next visit. :-/
