Stayed here for 5 days, we called ahead and asked if it was possible for us to pay for the stay when we leave because we had some problems with the bank, they said thats fine. When we arrived i told the receptionist that we called ahead and wanted to make the payment as we check out, the receptionist then proceeds to make us pay. When our card declined because we had problems with our bank, he demanded that we made the payment, so he charged all that was left on my card (my boyfriend was supposed to pay for the hotel). The receptionist demanded that we came to the reception the following day to pay, we managed to get the bank to fix the problem in time, and made the payment. The receptionist then told us that we had to pay in advance for every service we received, and that we werent allowed to put anything on the room, because they thought we wouldnt pay. Which I thought was very rude, when the only problem we had was with the bank and not the money itself. The room was overall good, it had some marks on the walls but it wasnt a big deal, but there were some issues. The bathtub had this smell of sewage whenever it was turned on, and the towels had this horrible metallic smell. The pool bar was also closed when it should have been open according to their website. We were also not allowed to order room service at night, which we also thought was weird. The cleaning staff were so sweet and always smiled. Overall, nice hotel but the staff were sadly not nice to us.
