In the harbour area of Port Nelson we were friendly and welcoming greeted by the owner of the lodge. Got a nice studio on the first floor facing the marinas with a small balcony. Nice and clean. Well maintained. Continental breakfast was a good relaxing start and included in the booking. We would gladly return.

Beautiful room overlooking the harbour. Very clean room and friendly staff. Lovely breakfast. Easy to walk into town (about 30 mins) or to walk to the museums and ‘Centre of NZ’ along the picturesque river. Quiet area for comfortable sleeping and plenty of parking. Highly recommended.
