We loved our stay at Glenmoor. The area is very peaceful, at least off season. We could see the ocean from our room, even though we were not ocean front. The staff was very accomodating. I would stay there again if I return to Maine.

The property is fabulous, but I found out that Expedia charged us $60 above the rate we would’ve been charged had I just called the hotel directly. They completely misled us. So do stay here, but don’t use Expedia to book it. We will return in the future and booked directly with the hotel. Also, the hotel delivers breakfast in the morning and it’s delicious! Highly recommend.

This is a lovely, family-owned property. Our room was spacious and updated, with a nice bath area and shower amenities. There was a bench large enough for two suitcases and plenty of space to hang clothing, and another area with drawers and a TV. We could see the ocean from our patio table where we had the breakfast that was delivered to our room. It included coffee, juice, fresh blueberry chocolate chip muffins and egg bites. The landscaping was attractive and there was a fire in a firepit near the water with fires in the evenings. We did not have a chance to use the small pool, gym or laundry. The person I chatted with at the front desk was friendly and welcoming. Our stay was perfect!

Loved Our Stay

We were looking for a location between Portland and Acadia National Park, and settled on the Camden area. We are so glad we did. Glenmore by the Sea was perfect for us! Our little cottage was a perfect home-away-from-home. The setting and landscaping are beautifully maintained. Breakfasts were great and delivered quietly to our door. We got great nights of sleep there due to the quiet atmosphere all around and the comfortable bed. The shower head had the best water pressure of any we have ever encountered--even better than ours here at home! Staff were friendly and helpful. We needed to know a good pizza place and they directed us to a terrific spot. We can't recommend it highly enough!
